United Way "Day of Caring"

Our Day of Caring links hundreds of people with volunteer projects at agencies and in neighborhoods throughout our community. Through creative, hands-on experiences, volunteers are able to experience the difference they can make in the lives of others. Working with a team or on your own, you can take disadvantaged children on a recreational outing or help an elderly person remain in their own home longer by making their house safer and warmer. Projects are open to teams of coworkers from businesses, as well as to other groups and individuals. United Way's Day of Caring is just one of the ways we're working to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.

Join us Friday, October 2nd for a day of volunteering. It's a fun way to make a huge difference in just one day. You might serve a meal at a homeless shelter, spruce up a day care center or repair a hiking trail. Day of Caring is your chance to make a lasting impact at nonprofits, schools, and parks around Dougherty and surrounding counties.

Please pre-register at (229) 883 6700 x22. See you in October! Sign up Today!
