Volunteer Center of Southwest Georgia

Volunteer Center of Southwest Georgia’s Mission:

The Volunteer Center of Southwest Georgia promotes and facilitates volunteer activities throughout the community. It functions as an umbrella agency, cooperating with other agencies, non-profits, business, and educational facilities to mobilize the effective use of volunteers in resolving community problems.

When you give of yourself, you have the ability to make a dramatic impact on the life of another. Whether it's tutoring a young child, performing home chores for an elderly person, or providing case management to a family at risk of homelessness, you can literally change people's lives for the better by volunteering.

The United Way Volunteer Center of Southwest Georgia will match you with volunteer opportunities that fit your interests, skills, availability, and location. They are happy to help you over the phone or in person in an interview.
