Our giving societies are made up of  investments of $1,000 or more to the annual campaign. Our leadership societies make it easy for you and your family to get involved and make a difference in the southwest Georgia region.

Membership at every level offers opportunities to address our community’s most pressing problems, engage your philanthropic spirit, and help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

ALEXIS DE TOCQUEVILLE SOCIETY

Investments of $10,000 or more annually

The Alexis de Tocqueville Society is a giving society comprised of local philanthropic leaders who devote resources and time to creating positive change in our community. The society is named for the French aristocrat, Alexis Charles Henri Clerel de Tocqueville, who recognized, applauded, and immortalized the spirit of volunteerism that lives in America’s heart.

Tocqueville members continue this legacy by investing in our community’s future and inspiring others to do the same. As a Tocqueville member, you will have opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of issues and explore ways you can have a positive impact on our community.

 
 

 

FLINT LEADERSHIP SOCIETY

Investments of $1,000 or more annually

Established in 2019, the Flint Leadership Society recognizes and celebrates individuals who demonstrate their caring spirit and commitment to United Way of Southwest Georgia. The confidence in United Way demonstrated by a leadership level investment sets an example of involvement for others to emulate and encourages others to higher level of philanthropic investment in their community.

 
 

YOUNG LEADERS

Investments of $100 or more annually to the Community Impact Fund or work of the United Way of Southwest Georgia

Young Leaders is open to young professionals age 35 or younger who strive to use their time, talent, and resources to create lasting change in our community. Membership includes invitations to volunteer opportunities, social events, Nonprofit Excellence Series and education sessions on community issues.

 
 

WOMEN UNITED

Investment of $1,000 or more annually to the Community Impact Fund or work of the United Way of Southwest Georgia

Women United recognizes, thanks, and further engages women who invest in the community. Women United members have the opportunity to shape our community’s future through giving, advocacy, and volunteerism.
