The United Way COVID-19 Community Relief Fund is making another round of grants in the southwest Georgia community this week, United Way of Southwest Georgia President and CEO, Shaunae Motley announced today. The Fund provides resources to organizations that are serving our most vulnerable populations: members of communities disproportionately impacted by Covid-19 and the economic consequences of the outbreak.
This brings the total distributed by the Fund to $172,000.
The funds being awarded this week include support for organizations addressing our community’s most basic health and safety needs, including: food access, rent/mortgage/utility assistance, emergency housing, childcare for essential workers, and medical PPE for small businesses.
Is your non-profit interested in applying? Let us know more about the work you are doing and your needs by completing the form. Grants are awarded bi-weekly. https://www.unitedwayswga.org/covid-19-community-relief-fund-application
